These silk shirts have a button-through chest patch pocket, a straight bottom, and two-button cuffs. They are made of 100% natural silk and are thus by nature lightweight.  As opposed to heavyweight silk shirts, which are usually very expensive and blended with polyester, rayon or cotton, our silk products are not only sold at remarkably low prices, but are also guaranteed to be made of 100% tightly-woven quality natural cocoon silk.  An interesting fact is that while one cocoon alone can provide up to 1000 meters (1090 yards) long of silk thread, about 650 cocoons will be needed for one silk shirt.

Silk shirts can be machine-washed in cold or warm water with mild detergent and no bleach on a gentle cycle. To avoid unnecessary wear to the fabric, do not overload the washer. Silk dries quickly, so tumble dry on low heat and immediately hang up afterward to avoid the need to iron.
