Features: This beautiful gown has stylish slits for movement during archery. It has some fun color changes and a back button closure for easy dressing. Features ruffles at the neckline, sleeves, and at the bottom of the skirt.

This dress is crocheted in one piece from the top down.

This PDF crochet pattern is designed to fit 18" dolls such as American Girl®.

Recommended Yarns:  #1 Fingering Weight Yarn. 

Supplies Needed:

  • 100 grams Fingering Weight #1 Yarn for Main Color
  • 20 grams Fingering Weight #1 Yarn for Contrasting Color
  • Crochet Hook Size: D/3-3.25MM
  • Four 9/16" - 14 MM buttons
  • Sharp needle for sewing buttons and weaving in your loose ends


Skill Level:  Intermediate. You will need to know how to change the color in the middle of a pattern, and change back. For the bodice, there will be a small section where you will have 2 colors of yarn attached to your project.

The PDF crochet pattern provides full color step-by-step illustrated instructions. It also includes text only instructions for easy printing.
