Tadashi Shoji (born January 15, 1948) is an American-based Japanese fashion designer known for his evening wear and bridal collections, and his red-carpet fashion.

He attended Los Angeles Trade–Technical College where he studied fashion design. As a student, Shoji apprenticed with costume designer Bill Whitten. Shoji worked alongside Whitten, who created designs for musicians including Elton John, Stevie Wonder, Neil Diamond, The Jacksons, and Earth, Wind, & Fire.  After graduation, Shoji worked for designer-turned-critic Richard Blackwell. (Mr. Blackwell)

Shoji launched his eponymous brand in 1982. He stated he was inspired to branch out on his own when he noticed that women had few choices in the contemporary market when it came to special occasion dresses.

Tadashi Shoji was a sponsor of Miss Universe Pageant from 2002 to 2007. He designed the opening dresses as well as the evening wear Miss Universe would wear to her events in her winning year. Riyo Mori was the last Miss Universe who wore Shoji's evening gowns during her title Miss Universe 2007.

REF: Wikipedia

The dress has a classic Audrey Hepburn style and is a great choice for those who love minimalist elegance.

A data engineering journey from basic to advance topics
Format: Kindle
Is the third time that I read this book. One of the most valuable aspects is the fact that depending of your data engineering mature, you'll always find a new aspect or ideas to put in practice. Hope the second version come soon!

Lottery Book
Format: Paperback
This book contains a lot of opinions without facts. Some are true, some are not. But its a lottery, you cold pick a gold text or a text that is full of buzzwords, without any meaning, fact and useless in real life.

Glad I bought this used
Format: Paperback
It’s packed with buzzwords and adjectives, offering plenty of in-vacuum advice and self-promotional ‘hire-me’ vibes. There’s some real insight here, but it’s buried under a lot of noise.

Not useful
Format: Paperback
This book has a few pieces of good advice, but its buried under mountains of weird and amateur level musings. Example: Paul Singman advocates for eliminating ETL entirely. How? Just reprogram the applications to which you may or may not have the source code to handle your data processing. He calls Intention Data Transfer 🥴 Thanks for the advice Paul, I'll get right on that.
