This 1990s Theorein Calatrava embodies the purest codes of the dress watch. A sleek 34mm solid 18k gold case, only 8.5mm thick, with a 44mm lug-to-lug profile ensuring refined wrist presence. Inside beats the Theorein Calibre 3108, based on the renowned Frédéric Piguet 9640 automatic movement, adjusted in five positions and equipped with 19 jewels. Frédéric Piguet, founded in 1858 in Le Brassus, has supplied movements to Breguet, Vacheron Constantin, Audemars Piguet, Piaget and other prestigious maisons. Condition
This Theorein Calatrava example is preserved in excellent overall condition, showing only lightest handling marks consistent with none to minimal wear. The 18k gold case is greatly preserved and unpolished, while the genuine dial shows no imperfections. The crown operates flawlessly for precise time-setting, while the crystal remains in excellent condition. Water resistance has not been tested. The automatic Theorein Calibre 3108, based on the renowned Frédéric Piguet 9640, is running smoothly at the time of cataloguing. The watch is fitted with its original Theorein leather strap and original Theorein metal buckle.
