Handmade in Como, Italy, the Liza Black Suspenders are designed from the same black wool as ETNA's Liza suit. That's why they seamlessly pair with the Liza Suit Wide Style Black Virgin Wool Pants. 

The suspenders are made in Como, Italy, paying tribute to Italian craftsmanship and heritage. Unique prefabricated product, with each piece made in different geographical location, in old family factories where the craft of production is passed down from generation to generation:

  • Made from natural wool, woven in a high-quality Turkish textile manufactory in Istanbul, using premium merino wool sourced from Australia.
  • The Y-back branded patch, button loops, and attachments are made from genuine buffalo leather, tanned and prepared in Tuscany.
  • Metal polished buckles that delicately adjust the length of the silk straps, and clips that attach the suspenders to trousers, - both are made in England.

ETNA suspenders have the perfect classic width: 3.5 cm (1 3/8 inches) and minimalist precision-crafted metal adjusters suiting any body type and height flawlessly. Such width will always fit perfectly with any bottom, whether wide or classic pants, as well as with any top, whether slim or oversized shirts. The suspenders contain elements that allow them to be used in two ways: metal clips at the end of the straps attaching the suspenders directly to trousers, or leather loops that fasten the suspenders to special buttons on the pants.

I’m not sure why the promotional photos show these hooks with the bent ends pointing down. To me that makes no sense, as it seems they are using them upside down. It makes more sense to me to have the bent ends point up, so the items being stored do not slide off. Additionally, the shorter bent hooks make no sent to have on the top, as they would limit how far back you could place a shovel or other tool. When using the hooks with the bent ends pointing up, you can place your lighter bulkier items on the long hooks, but then use the short hooks for those heavier items (if they fit), as that gets them closer to the magnets and will have less leverage to make the magnetic hooks fall free from the metal they are trying to be attracted to. In my example photos, you can see how the shorter hooks do not obstruct the shovels and other tools from being stored properly and the bent ends then also help to prevent the tools from sliding off the hook. Overall, I am very happy with the hooks. I’ve had a fondness for magnets since I was a kid, so I have a very realistic expectation of the limits of magnets and these magnetic hooks perform as well as I would expect.

Strong magnetic hook with only one small con

I got the four-pack of magnetic hooks and the magnets are indeed strong. You have to reasonable with how much weight you hang off of these though! The longer hooks help with holding multiple items. I've used them for shovels and rakes and they hold up just fine. The only slight con is that I wish the ends of the hooks curled up instead of down to keep items from sliding off as safety precaution. You can just turn the hook upside down but then the shorter hooks are at the bottom. They work for what I need them and can hold power tools as well. The hooks are sturdy and the magnet power is impressive.

I'm putting up shelves around my bed for my books, and so far, the first shelf is holding nicely with these brackets. They seem pretty sturdy and were easy to install with the screws and anchors that came with it. I measured out where i wanted the brackets on the board and then screwed them to it. I then held it against the wall and used a level to make sure it was level, then put a screw in the middle bracket to hold it level while i marked the rest of the screw holes. I did this all by myself, but it would've been a lot easier to do with two people. I plan to buy more and put up more shelves
