To make sure you have right pH and other nutrients for your acid-loving plants, test your soil and receive customized recommendations on your fertilizer needs.

Application (from the manufacturer): 

Azaleas, rhododendrons and other evergreen plants have fine feeder roots close to the surface.  When feeding, spread Fertrell Holly Care on ground around plant base covering an area slightly larger than the spread of branches.  Cover with mulch and never cultivate.  If weeds or grass appear, remove by hand.

Apply 1 lb of Fertrell Holly Care per small tree or shrub in fall for strong spring growth.  Can be applied again in spring.  For a tree or shrub with a branch spread of more than 3 feet in diameter, apply 2 ½-3 lbs of Fertrell Holly Care.

For flowering plants, apply 4-6 oz per plant in spring.

For blueberries, apply once annually between July and September to provide plenty of time for the roots to absorb this high phosphorus fertilizer with sulfur.  Apply 10 lbs per 100 row ft.
